Bathroom falls are a leading cause of home death and injury, if you have parents that are getting older and starting to have a hard time getting around or if you yourself could use a something steady in the bath area a safety grab bar might be just the answer. Consider getting a couple of grabbars in the bath or shower area as well as near the commode. Safety grab bars are not only for the bathroom though. A safety grabbar can be helpful in the bedroom as something to lean on when getting dressed or near the most used entrance in your home where the floor may be wet from snow or rain. Consider cleaning or have your dryer vent cleaned every couple of years. A clogged dryer vent can clog and affect the operation of your dryer and is also a fire hazard. It is also a good idea to clean behind your dryer.
